چکیده
The complete solution to the mean-spherical approximation is given for an arbitrary mixture of ions in a dipolar solvent. calculation done overall neutral collection charged hard spheres (ions) and dipoles (solvent) that bear central point dipole. Previous solutions this problem were not consistent because they did include solvent particles as (neutral) solute mixture. present accounts peculiar counterintuitive feature, fully consistently. Complete expressions chemical potentials are provided first time. To illustrate, binary 1-1 asymmetric electrolyte water-like considered, some numerical results examined. In particular, it verified set thermodynamic consistency relations accurately fulfilled.

Modeling thermodynamic properties of electrolytes: Inclusion of the mean spherical approximation (MSA) in the simplified SAFT equation of state
In this work, an equation of state has been utilized for thermodynamic modeling of aqueous electrolyte solutions. The proposed equation of state is a combination of simplified statistical associating fluid theory (SAFT) equation of state (similar to simplified PC-SAFT) to describe the effect of short-range interactions and mean spherical approximation (MSA) term to describe the effect of long-r...
متن کاملfrom linguistics to literature: a linguistic approach to the study of linguistic deviations in the turkish divan of shahriar
chapter i provides an overview of structural linguistics and touches upon the saussurean dichotomies with the final goal of exploring their relevance to the stylistic studies of literature. to provide evidence for the singificance of the study, chapter ii deals with the controversial issue of linguistics and literature, and presents opposing views which, at the same time, have been central to t...

The Blum-Hoye [J. Stat. Phys. 19 317 (1978)] solution of the mean spherical approximation for a multicomponent multi-Yukawa hard-sphere fluid is extended to a polydisperse multi-Yukawa hard-sphere fluid. Our extension is based on the application of the orthogonal polynomial expansion method of Lado [Phys. Rev. E 54, 4411 (1996)]. Closed form analytical expressions for the structural and thermod...
متن کاملGeneralizing The Mean Spherical Approximation as a Multiscale, Nonlinear Boundary Condition at the Solute--Solvent Interface
In this paper we extend the familiar continuum electrostatic model with a perturbation to the usual macroscopic boundary condition. The perturbation is based on the mean spherical approximation (MSA), to derive a multiscale hydration-shell boundary condition (HSBC). We show that the HSBC/MSA model reproduces MSA predictions for Born ions in a variety of polar solvents, including both protic and...
